The director told the Third Doctor that two of his men, Professor Philips and Goodge, had gone missing.

Shortly afterwards, he discovered the dead, shrunken body of Goodge, who had been killed by the Master's TCE, inside the technician's own lunchbox. (TV: Terror of the Autons)
