Transmission Ends was the seventeenth and final short story in the Short Trips anthology Short Trips: Transmissions. It was written by Richard Salter. It featured the Eighth Doctor.

- Whilst travelling with the Doctor, Bazima travelled to Metebelis III, Valdamen, Earth, Katonsis, Raag and Valdamar IV.
- Kubthukians are a race who interface directly with their own technology.
- Floronia was terraformed by a company called Weatherant. New Rasia is a continent on the planet. Miniaron is a populator tourist destination. Bambrin is a small town.
- A fifty-foot tsunami has recently destroyed the coastal city of Chimarenta.
