Dennis meets Jonathan Ross was a 2-part comic story published in the first issue of BeanoMAX (a Comic Relief special). It continued the narrative established by the prior crossover, Dennis the Menace in Balloonatics, and retained continuity with the rest of the issue. This included The Invasion of Bash Street, which had featured a cameo appearance by Jonathan Ross in a narrative mostly focusing on a Dalek's invasion of Bash Street School, leading to the second part of Dennis meets Jonathan Ross having Ross reference his encounter with a Dalek.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

Part 1[[edit] | [edit source]]

Jonathan Ross is exploring Beanotown, where he meets Dennis the Menace. Dennis asks him not to break anything, as that's Dennis' job, and Ross reflects on how cool it is that he'd met Dennis the Menace, wondering which Beano character he'd meet next. He proceeds to fall down a manhole, with Calamity James walking over his head. Ross wonders how well he'll do in other stories.

Part 2[[edit] | [edit source]]

Jonathan Ross reflects on his encounters with Calamity James and a Dalek, deciding that he won't take it anymore. Dennis approaches Ross, and notes that Ross has had a rough day, giving him a slingshot. The duo then team up to shoot Red Noses onto various people's faces.
