Faceache was a Doctor Who Adventures comic strip published in 2013.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Doctor and Clara unknowingly arrive in a hall of Horrors and Mirrors where everything is not as it seems.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald arrive in a spooky alien setting. Making their way by torchlight they find a huge structure hanging before them comprising of broken glass that is reflecting the light. As they watch they see scary alien monsters begin to emerge from the glass — the likes of which the Doctor is unable to identify. They identify themselves as monsters and say they are hungry. Clara becomes separated from the Doctor who when she next sees him now appears to be trapped in the glass and turned into a monster! On the other side of the glass the illusion is shared, with Clara becoming the monster. Tracking back the original monster image they saw they find a family of aliens at work. The Doctor and Clara had arrived in the Truben House of Horrors and Mirrors — a feature in a theme park. The monsters aren't monsters after all and the Doctor and Clara spend the rest of the day in the fun park.
