== Synopsis ==
The narrative storytelling device was K9 was now a part of the hosting team of ''Stargazing Live'', he is even referred to as a "new member of [the] team" and "quizmaster", he'd then be talking to "Master [[Dara O'Briain|Dara]]", of course Dara being [[Dara O'Briain]] who hosted the main part of ''Stargazing Live'', and his guests through a pre-filmed report in the form of a question posed to he guests of the show. The guests would then have time to answer before cutting back to a filmed K9 segment where he gives the answer to the question. The live scenes remain entirely fiction in the way it treats K9 as a real person.
 
Dara O'Briain states, while still treating K9 as a real person, that K9 is the only BBC television star you can safely book on the show these days. This is a reference to Operation Yewtree which involved the investigation into several BBC stars regarding historic sex offences.
