A possible ninth incarnation of the Doctor was seen by the Eighth Doctor in the Tomorrow Window. The figure, who had unruly, curly hair and resembled a scruffy student, shrugged and gave the Eighth Doctor an apologetic, lopsided smile. (PROSE: The Tomorrow Windows)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
According to Jonathan Morris,[1] this incarnation's appearance was based on actor Alan Davies, who was a rumoured actor for the Ninth Doctor in 2003 before the reveal of Christopher Eccleston.[2]
