Part 1[[edit] | [edit source]]
Clara Oswald is riding her motorbike on a motorway to an emergency meeting with the Doctor, when the traffic suddenly comes to a standstill. Initially assuming it to be a traffic jam, Clara is shocked as the road ahead of her suddenly raises from the ground, and a large wormhole appears at the end of it and begins sucking everything in around it. After helping a family to escape from their car, the threat fully reveals itself to be a monster that had disguised itself as a road, who wanted to to suck the entire planet into another universe. Clara confidently proclaims to the monster that she will stop it, before the monster tries to flatten her with its tail…
Part 2[[edit] | [edit source]]
The monster's tail continues to chase a speeding Clara, something which Clara is happy about: fast approaching its mouth, the monster prepares to swallow her. With the monster sucking itself out of existence, and the other motorists safe, Clara heads off. Later, Clara finally makes her way to the TARDIS asking the Doctor what the emergency is, as the Doctor opens the door, a blinding white light shining out from behind him. He tells Clara about motorway monster that had just vanished, seemingly unaware that Clara was the one who saw to it.
