- A yellow Zygon, pink Adipose and a Sontaran in black armour are present at Garage 10.
- The Garage 10 Owner is arrested by Judoon wearing orange armour.
- The Doctor mentions the Castles of Trutalia.
- The Doctor says that the Ministry of Time went out of business thousands of years ago.

- Athena is the first "one-off" companion of the Twelfth Doctor era comic strip. Although invited to join the Doctor, she declines.
