Incarnations of Straxus
Straxus once worked for the Celestial Intervention Agency. Unbeknownst to the High Council, he was instructed to gather from the Vess weapons that would allow the Time Lords to defend themselves and defeat races that posed a threat to Gallifrey. He was discovered by Pratt, who blackmailed him and the CIA to by threatening to inform the High Council. In exchange for his silence, Straxus let him buy a conceptual bomb from the Vess. The Master used the device to attack the Doctor's timeline, thus threatening the whole universe, by using the bomb to erase the Doctor's TARDIS and thus everything he had accomplished. Recognising that the loss of the Doctor from history was causing too much damage, Straxus then captured the Sixth Doctor to ask for his help in defeating the Master and, eventually, regretted his own behaviour and meant to report to the High Council. In this situation, his own TARDIS was sacrificed and destroyed by the Sixth Doctor by forcing and expanding its dimensional stabilisation field, in order to let the Doctor's other incarnations land in the pocket dimension of the Vess at the same time. Although the first three Doctors were only able to partially materialise, this was enough for the other Doctors to work out what the Master had done and undo his attack, essentially erasing the whole crisis from existence. In a different body, Straxus was sent by the High Council to the Doctor's TARDIS. He ordered the Eighth Doctor to Lonsis in 2006 to retrieve Lucie Miller from a temporal blackspot. The Doctor agreed on condition that Straxus fix his TARDIS. Straxus agreed and gave the Doctor a time ring for his mission.

On the Doctor's return from his mission, Straxus told the Doctor why Lucie was originally taken out of her own time and sent to the Doctor. Straxus then helped the Doctor defeat the Cybermen on Lonsis before returning to Gallifrey. (AUDIO: Human Resources)

Straxus was later sent by the Time Lords to take the Doctor back to Gallifrey, where he was to be quarantined with the rest of the Time Lords in order to prevent the resurrection of Morbius. Straxus was imprisoned for ten years while Morbius fed of Straxus' life energy whenever he became weak. In another incarnation, Straxus was sent on a mission for the Time Lords to London in 1893. He became trapped there and decided to place ancient historical treasures in a market place where they were never meant to be. By doing this he would reshape human history, which would in turn inform the Time Lords as to which time period he was trapped in. During this time, an attempt was made on his life by Septimus, one of his Cwejen clones. In his next incarnation, Straxus became sick of the acts that the Time Lords had commited. He was found by the Dalek time controller, who had his DNA altered and he became known as Kotris. Kotris spent centuries on the planet Srangor helping the Daleks create a Temporal Chamber. (AUDIO: X and the Daleks) Knowing that his future self would become an enemy of the Time Lords, the younger Straxus attempted to commit suicide by throwing himself off a mountain on Srangor but was prevented from doing so by a temporal drone sent by Kotris. (AUDIO: The Great War, X and the Daleks) Learning that his future self planned to use Molly O'Sullivan- contaminated by Retro-genitor particles- to erase the Time Lords from history, Straxus attempted to modify the particles in Molly to 'target' the Daleks, but this plan was averted when the Doctor and his new acquaintance Nadeyan refused to sacrifice Molly, Nadeyan instead sacrificing himself to destroy the Temporal Chamber. Straxus tried to defend his actions, but the subsequent confrontation between the Doctor, Straxus and Kotris revealed that Kotris's actions had been motivated by Straxus's own self-loathing of some of the ruthless actions he had committed to help the Time Lords. As the Doctor and Molly departed, Straxus was exterminated by the Daleks, the Dalek Time Controller mockingly denouncing Straxus as a coward while noting that it would still remember these events despite Kotris's erasure. Incarnations of Straxus[[edit] | [edit source]]

Straxus once worked for the Celestial Intervention Agency. (AUDIO: The Light at the End) In one incarnation working for the CIA, he attempted to use a time ram to force the Master's TARDIS out of the Time Vortex to erase him from existence, only for the Master to survive and shoot Straxus. (AUDIO: The Threshold)

In another incarnation Straxus oversaw the Time Lord delegation at the Vess weapons factory and was forced to bargain with the Decayed Master after the renegade discovered the operation. He reluctantly aided the Sixth Doctor in stopping the Master's scheme to use a conceptual bomb to erase the Doctor's travels. (AUDIO: The Light at the End)

During the War in Heaven, Straxus' future self was stranded on Earth in 1888 after his Time Ring failed during a mission. (AUDIO: The Adventure of the Diogenes Damsel)

In a new incarnation Straxus worked for the High Council. He ordered the Eighth Doctor to Lonsis in 2006 to retrieve Lucie Miller from a temporal blackspot and subsequently discovered the witness protection scheme she'd been a part of had been botched, which Straxus blamed on the CIA. (AUDIO: Human Resources)

Another incarnation of Straxus became aware of the scheme of his future self and the Dalek Time Controller to use retro-genitor particles against the Time Lords and sought to exploit it to erase the Daleks instead. (AUDIO: X and the Daleks) With the agreement of the Lord President, he embroiled the Eighth Doctor, (AUDIO: The Great War) instructing him to look after Molly O'Sullivan. (AUDIO: Fugitives) Straxus was killed by the Time Controller before his plan could succeed, erasing his future self in the process. (AUDIO: X and the Daleks)

In a timeline which was eventually unwritten, Straxus worked with the Daleks and changed his name to Kotris. (AUDIO: The Great War, Fugitives, Tangled Web) He planned to erase the Time Lords but came into conflict with his younger self, eventually resulting in his younger self's premature extermination which erased Kotris from existence. (AUDIO: X and the Daleks)
