Paludin Fields was the fourth release in the The Minister of Chance. It was written by Dan Freeman and featured Julian Wadham as the Second Minister of Chance, Lauren Crace as Kitty, Peter Guinness as the Horseman, Jenny Agutter as Professor Cantha and Paul McGann as Durian.

Professor Cantha is in the hands of the Tantine resistance leader, Sunflower. In Sezuan, The Witch Prime's plot comes to fruition. In Paludin Fields, Kitty and the Minister finally meet The Sage of The Waves, and unfortunately... The Horseman.
