This topic might have a better name.

As he's almost entirely known as Sam, including in the credits, surely Sam Lloyd fits better (with Samuel Lloyd acting as a useful redirect as both full names are used).

Talk about it here.

Samuel "Sam" Lloyd (born 23 June 1994) was a friend of Rani Chandra. He was later the husband of Eve and father of Adam Lloyd.

Sam was an orphan and Rani's best friend. His parents died in a car crash in 2001 so he lived in Saint Anthony's Children Home in Danemouth. After Rani moved away to Ealing in 2009, he lost contact with her. He met Eve at a derelict funfair and was told by her Ship to get Rani to come so she could let Eve go back to the stars.

When Ship was fully operational once again, Sam went into space with Eve and Harry Sowersby. Sam and Eve eventually had a child, Adam Lloyd. (TV: The Mad Woman in the Attic)
