Press Play was a short story featuring the Thirteenth Doctor and written by Pete McTighe. It was later published as the fourteenth story in Adventures in Lockdown.

- The Doctor uses FaceTime to contact Graham, Yaz, and Ryan.
- The Doctor's TARDIS has logged the adventures; Crisis on Poosh, Genesis of the Daleks, Attack of the Postmen, The Timelash, and 100,000 BC.
- It is said that the Doctor can usually distract herself by emergency-deep-freezing Krynoid hatchlings.
- The Doctor eats a custard cream.
- The TARDIS is in Artron II Recharge Mode, which "play[s] havoc" with human DNA.
- This was apparently what caused David Bowie's left eye to permanently dilate.
