Bruce Healy was an Australian who searched the Himalayas for the Tibetan Yeti sometime in the 1980s, along with Angela Healy and a Japanese traveller called Shiro Sugimoto. Feeling unwelcome at the monastery, they continued their search. At night Shiro was killed and the Great Intelligence took over his body, unknown to the others.
