Chrysler

Chrysler was a make of automobile which was first introduced in 1924. Frederick anachronistically mentioned driving one in 1906, which the Eighth Doctor picked up on. He then claimed Edward Grove had a Bentley instead. Both him and Edith Thompson were continually unsure whether it was a Bentley or Chrysler.

This was because they were all trapped in a time loop, playing out for eternity, centred on Edith's life and death. Frederick was blended together in Edith's memories with another chauffeur, who had had an affair with Edith in 1927 but who had quickly spurned her after attempting to seduce her in his Chrysler.
