Fox Kids was a children's television brand that existed in various forms throughout the world.

In its native United States, it was a programming block on the Fox Broadcasting Company network, where it had also been known under the names, Fox Children's Network and the Fox Kids Network.

In Europe and Latin America, it was a dedicated television channel.

From 1992 to 1997, it was the original home of X-Men: The Animated Series, which included the two-part crossover episode, Proteus [+]Loading...["Proteus (TV story)"].

Fate

After Disney purchased Fox Family Worldwide in 2002, the American Fox Kids block ended on 7 September, to be replaced a week later by FoxBox.

Fox Kids television channels in Europe and Latin America were rebranded as Jetix in 2004. They were further rebranded in 2009 and onward as Disney XD.
