Major Events

• Unknown (Early Century) - The Second Dalek War takes place. Numerous planets were destroyed in the conflict. The war was stopped when the Tenth Doctor and the crew of the Wayfarer destroyed the Dalek ship Exterminator along with its Dalek crew, and leaving its leader, Dalek X, for dead. • The Cyber-Wars occur in 2526.
• Unknown (mid-century) - By mid-century (probably well before), much of what was once the southern United States has sunk under the "Mississippi Sea"--probably a much-expanded Caribbean Sea. (BFBS: Home)
• Unknown (mid-century) - Space travel is relatively commonplace and affordable, though trips can be lengthy. It is common practice to sedate passengers for the longer trips. (BFBS: Biology Lesson on Mal Oreille)
• Unknown (mid-century) - The Sontarans and the Rutans take their war to Chelsea 426. The Doctor is able to stop the Rutans and the Sontarans leave before the colony collides with a Great White Spot. With help, the Doctor is also able to prevent this. (NSA: The Taking of Chelsea 426)
• Unknown (late century) - Space travel appears to be significantly faster by the end of the century; the approximately 27,000 light-year trip between Earth, near the edge of the galaxy, and Dellah, near its core, takes about eleven months. (BNA: Oh No It Isn't!)

• Bernice Summerfield grew up in this century.
• Abslom Daak and the Star Tigers fought Daleks at this time.
• Ace lived here for three years when she decided to leave the Seventh Doctor and join Spacefleet.
• Laura Tobin lived in this century, as a human, before her transformation into the Eighth Doctor's companion Compassion.
• Space Major Jon Bowman lived in this century. He was in charge of a starship of a crew of bounty hunters during the Dalek war which he helped the Tenth Doctor to end. He and another member of his crew survived, the other three died.

  • The Third Doctor and Jo Grant prevent the Master from fomenting war between the Earth Empire and the Draconian Empire. (DW: Frontier in Space) They then defeat the Daleks' invasion plans on Spiridon. (DW: Planet of the Daleks)
  • 21 June: Bernice Summerfield is born on Earth colony Beta Caprisis. (NA: Just War)

  • 21 December: Earliest possible date for the Battle of Bellatrix. Dalek forces engage the Earth Alliance's Spacefleet at Bellatrix. At the end of the battle, Admiral Summerfield's battleship, the Tisiphone, falls into a spatio-temporal rift and is transported to 1963 Earth. (NA: Return of the Living Dad)

  • after 21 June: Daleks attack the Earth colony of Beta Caprisis. Claire Summerfield is killed. Survivors of the attack are evacuated to a space station aboard the luxury liner Star of Lucknow.
• 2562: Bernice Summerfield attempts an exploration of Capella Four. (BFBS: The Dead Men Diaries: Steal from the World) At some point after 21 June, she is awarded her M.A. in Archaeology. (BFBS: Genius Loci)
• 2564: Bernice Summerfield excavates an Ice Warrior site at Mare Silenium, on Mars. The dig establishes Benny's reputation as an archaeologist, and forms the basis for her bestselling book, Down Among the Dead Men.
