Match of the Day was the sixty-eighth novel in the BBC Past Doctor Adventures series. It was written by Chris Boucher, released 3 January 2005 and featured the Fourth Doctor and Leela.
This was Boucher's last contribution to the Past Doctor Adventures range and the franchise overall.

There were the contracts, the agents, the local sponsors, the broadcasts, the laws which made murder legal...
It had taken a long time to establish, and an even longer to develop the league of superstar duellists. And just when it was all working so well, someone or something started interfering.
