Hackney was a district in London. (TV: Nightvisiting [+]Loading...["Nightvisiting (TV story)"])

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Jo Jones lived there in a small two-bedroom house after her separation from Dr Clifford Jones. She had to hold down two jobs to keep herself and her teenaged son, Matthew, afloat. (PROSE: Genocide)

Alice Obiefune lived by herself in a Hackney apartment when she met the Eleventh Doctor in 2014. Shortly after her mother died, she was informed she was evicted. (COMIC: After Life) Alice was still fighting her eviction in 2015. At the time she returned to her apartment after several adventures with the Doctor, the Eternal Dogfight had arrived on Earth. The Doctor remarked to John Jones that "spaceships didn't come to Hackney...that often." (COMIC: The Eternal Dogfight)

Hackney held a Hackney Harvest feast on Sunday 29 September 2016, on the junction of Narrow Way and Mare Street. Around this time, Your Hackney was a short film competition in Hackney. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die)

The 55 double decker bus was headed to Clerkenwell Road, Hackney, Oxford Circus when it was stolen by Andrea Quill. (TV: Nightvisiting [+]Loading...["Nightvisiting (TV story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

London Bus route 55, the same number as the bus stolen by Andrea Quill in Nightvisiting, does indeed serve Hackney in the real world.
