Ms. Fisher holds an interesting distinction in the Doctor Who Universe, Like Maggie Staples she is a new companion introduced due to Big Finish.  
Fisher holds the longest continuous streak as a companion of the Doctor. From January 2001, starting with the release of ''[[Storm Warning (audio story)|Storm Warning]]'' until January 2007, she participated in every [[Eighth Doctor]] audio adventure. Beginning with ''[[The Condemned (audio story)|The Condemned]]'', she reprised the role of Charlotte in an arc of stories alongside [[Colin Baker]] as the [[Sixth Doctor]]. In 2014, she was given her own spin-off — the ''[[Charlotte Pollard (audio series)|Charlotte Pollard]]'' audio series.


Unlike [[Maggie Staples]] she holds the longest continual streak as a companion of the Doctor. From January 2001 till the release of Blood of the Daleks, every new [[Eight Doctor]] adventure will include her.

India Fisher (born 10 September[1] 1974[2]) is a voice actor for Big Finish Productions, notable for portraying the Sixth and Eighth Doctors' companion Charley Pollard.

India Fisher initially played Peril Bellamy in Winter for the Adept alongside her friend Liz Sutherland. She later returned to play Charlotte Pollard, companion to the Eighth Doctor as played by Paul McGann, becoming the first actor cast as a recurring companion of a current Doctor since Sophie Aldred took the role of Ace in 1987.

Fisher holds the longest continuous streak as a companion of the Doctor. From January 2001, starting with the release of Storm Warning until January 2007, she participated in every Eighth Doctor audio adventure.
