Invasion of the Cybermen was the fifth skit included amongst the interviews within More than 30 Years in the TARDIS. Although the first half of the skit was included in 30 Years in the TARDIS, a second half bringing in a Cybermat was only present in More than…. The skit broke the fourth wall, featuring Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant as themselves (and discussing their Doctor Who roles) but also real Cybermen in a parodical recreation of the St Paul's Cathedral scene in The Invasion. The skit had no on-screen title, with it instead appearing in the chapters list of the VHS release of More than 30 Years in the TARDIS.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Cyber-Controller passes his Cybermen in review before they begin slowly descending the steps of St Paul's Cathedral, loosely trailing Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant, who are bantering about the role of the companion in the Doctor Who television series. Eventually, Bryant interrupts the conversation to point out their pursuers' presence to Baker, who claims he knew the whole time. They duck into an alleyway where Baker boasts that he "once shot a Cyber-Controller, and really enjoyed it". However, they are soon attacked by a flying Cybermat.
