Sternbar, later known as Lord Stormblood, was a Time Lord and one of Caleera's assistants.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Sternbar (AUDIO: The Crucible of Souls) was the Chief Archivist of the Panopticon Archive and worked with the One, who hated him. He allowed Caleera to work at the Archives as an assistant to a junior archivist due to her history of psychic powers.

When the Eleven escaped the Capitol prison facility, Sternbar fled and was tricked by Caleera into evacuating in her TARDIS. She hypnotised him, an Educator and a Psychosurgeon into helping her use the neural amplifier to reawaken and focus her psychic powers. The time winds of the Time Vortex wore away at their sanity, changing their personalities and turning them into Lord Stormblood, Lady Sepulchra and Swordfish. (AUDIO: Scenes From Her Life) Cardinal Padrac told the Eighth Doctor that he was missing. (AUDIO: The Eleven)

Lord Stormblood and Lady Sepulchra forgot their pasts and what the TARDIS was and believed themselves to be an aristocratic couple, testing Caleera's powers on various prisoners. They believed that the Eighth Doctor could help with the experiments when he arrived and took him and Liv Chenka to Caleera. Instead, Liv saved the wife and freed the other prisoners, who grabbed a hold of the three helpers. They told Liv that they were helping Caleera and, after asking Caleera to set them free, were exposed to the Time Vortex and killed. (AUDIO: Scenes From Her Life)

Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

With Sterngar's disappearance, his access codes were passed on to Cardinal Padrac. Liv realised that Padrac was part of the Doom Coalition upon learning that the Chief Archivist was a man as he had previously referred to him as a woman, determining that he had misspoken as he knew that he had been taken by Caleera. (AUDIO: The Crucible of Souls)
