Gordon Banks

Gordon Banks was the goalkeeper for the victorious England national football team during the 1966 World Cup Final against West Germany. Near the end of regulation time, although Banks managed to deflect multiple German shots, he ultimately allowed a tieing goal, making the game 2-2 and eventually resulting in extra time.

Rory Williams, Amy Pond and the Eleventh Doctor purchased Bazooka bubblegum that contained stickers of the players. Rory received a sticker of Banks. (PROSE: Extra Time)
