Parents' evening was an event at which parents spoke to their children's teachers, and found out how they were doing.
In 2014, (COMIC: The Fractures) Coal Hill School's parents' evening was interrupted for teachers Clara Oswald and Danny Pink when the Twelfth Doctor beckoned for them to join him in fighting the Skovox Blitzer. Mr and Mrs Woods, parents of Courtney Woods were there. When they arrived, no one wanted to speak to them first. Danny offered to take them to Adrian Davies wouldn't have to. When Danny told them she was a disruptive influence, they took that as an improvement from "very disruptive influence". Clara was talking to Mrs Christopholou about her daughter Angelina, and as she was leaving, told her that she was a great girl, top of the class, though she could work on her handwriting. (TV: The Caretaker)
Matteusz Andrzejewski's mother and father would always come to parents' evenings, but stopped going after they kicked him out in October 2016. Charlie Smith commanded Andrea Quill to go for him, in the role of his parents. Headteacher Dorothea Ames told Quill that she shouldn't be worried or embarrassed about attending as both parent/guardian and as teacher. (TV: Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart) Ames later told Quill that while she and the Governors were still willing to help her remove the arn, Quill would still have to do parents' evening. (TV: Brave-ish Heart)
