Outback

The Outback, colloquially known as the Bush, (PROSE: Bennelong Point) was a desert region of Australia.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

One incarnation of the Doctor lived in the Outback for 123 years, where they "saw some great rocks." (TV: Spyfall)

In 1943, the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond encountered Sgt Brett Cooper in the Outback, and convinced a Mirrorite to return to its homeworld. (COMIC: Seeing Things)

In 1979, Skylab fell from orbit and debris from it landed in the Bush, near to the town of Esperance. (PROSE: Bennelong Point)

In 1987, the Fifth Doctor visited Tegan Jovanka in the Outback, where she was running her father's farm after he was hospitalised by a snake bite. (PROSE: Encounter on Burnt Snake Flat)

In 2020, the Thirteenth Doctor visited the Great Victoria Desert during a Kasaavin invasion of Earth, where she encountered the Spy Master in the guise of O. His TARDIS took the form of a wooden house in this location. (TV: Spyfall)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Scenes set in the Australian outback in Spyfall were actually shot on location in South Africa.
