Newham was a part of London.
Newham shared its western border with Tower Hamlets, its north-western border with Hackney and Waltham Forest, its north-eastern border with Redbridge and its eastern border with Barking. Its southern border was the River Thames, across which was Greenwich.
In the 2000s Coldfire Construction put up a new technology block in three of the schools in Newham. (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen)
