Krakatoa erupted. Some time prior to his third incarnation, the Doctor witnessed the eruption. He also heard Primords for the first time. (TV: Inferno) That same day, the Ninth Doctor, having stolen a Time War weapon from Althea Bryce, visited Krakatoa to bury it so it could be destroyed in the eruption, two hours later. However, a younger version of Althea Bryce later retrieved the weapon, creating a temporal loop.
