Professor Cedric Scrivener was an explorer and the head of Gralstead House in mid-19th century England.
He was keen on hunting trips, and amongst his wall he had heads of an Okapi and a Hippopotamus.
On one of his excursions to the Congo in 1845, his wife Jane contracted malaria and died. (AUDIO: The Ghosts of Gralstead)
