The Seventh Doctor once found a snow globe that contained a pale-blue topaz figure of Jack Frost. (PROSE: Sky Pirates! [+]Loading...["Sky Pirates! (novel)"])

Jack Frost was also one of the Winter Lords, god-like beings from outside the universe responsible for its cooling after the initial Big Bang. According to the Doctor, he was known by a range of other names; on Ribos, he was known as the Bitter King, while Cacophony knew him as the Cold Bringer. The entity known as Jack Frost emerged into this universe when a cryogenics experiment on a space station orbiting Venus froze the test subject to absolute zero, such an extreme temperature changing the rules of the universe and allowing Jack Frost to take the subject as a host. The Ninth Doctor attempted to make Frost stand down by revealing that he was the last of the Winter Gods- implying but not explicitly confirming that the others were all killed in the Time War- but Frost vowed to destroy the universe in retaliation instead. With Frost still weakened as he adjusted to his new host, the Doctor was able to evacuate most of the satellite's population and then send the part of the satellite occupied by Frost into Venus's toxic atmosphere.
