While waiting for a response from International Rescue after the assassination of Captain Blacker and theft of plans to a nuclear device, Jimmy Bondson stayed in a room in a hotel.

The room was furnished with a bed, a table with a glass vase, a wooden chair, paintings on the wall, and a videophone with a sound-only option. Additionally, it included a glass door with white curtains leading to an exterior patio with a white, heart-shaped chair.

After having a call with International Rescue agent Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward, Bondson drove to a clearing in the Forest of Digne at midnight to meet her and explain why he needed the help of International Rescue. At the end of this discussion, Penelope had Bondson wait 10 minutes before returning to the hotel. (TV: The Man from MI.5)
