On 15 January 1559, (PROSE: The Time Traveller's Almanac) Elizabeth I was crowned Queen of England. An incarnation of the Doctor, no later than his third, attended the coronation. (TV: The Curse of Peladon) He thought the coronation dinner was good, until Essex started throwing drumsticks around. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Witch Mark) At the end of her life, in 1603, Elizabeth recalled to John Dee she had met the Doctor at her coronation. (PROSE: Birthright)
