After leaving Anya Kingdom in the Dalek-Movellan War, the Tenth Doctor visited Elizabeth I in 1562. (AUDIO: The Triumph of Davros) A Zygon force was operating in England, so, thinking the Queen was a Zygon, the Doctor proposed to her as part of a plan to defeat the invasion. In reality, he had proposed to the real Elizabeth. Later, the Eleventh Doctor, War Doctor, and Clara Oswald arrived in 1562 through time windows opened by the Moment. The three Doctors were imprisoned in the Tower of London. Ultimately, the Zygons froze themselves in stasis cubes, hoping to emerge when Earth was more suitable for conquest, and the Tenth Doctor married Elizabeth before leaving, telling her he'd be back soon.
