The Therovian Quest was a TV Comic story featuring the First Doctor, John and Gillian Who.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
A seemingly incurable disease is gradually weakening the people of Theros. The Doctor and his companions travel with Grig, a Therovian astronaut to the planet Ixon where a moss grows that might provide an antidote.
Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The asteroid has a low gravity that the Doctor compares to the Moon of Earth.
- The Doctor states that he cannot use the TARDIS to get to Theros because its controls are damaged.
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This is the first comic story to use the term "TARDIS" to describe the time machine.
- John and Gillian watch what is happening outside the ship through what appears to be a circular window. This is, presumably, the TARDIS scanner.
- This story was reprinted in DWCC 12 in colour.
