While on a fishing holiday in Scotland, the Doctor encounters a group of archaeologists who are investigating the legend of the Glen of Sleeping. One of the scientists is in fact the Master in disguise who summons Red Angus his clansmen from their centuries-long sleep. With Angus and his men under his command, the Master intends to use them to capture a nuclear submarine in a near loch.
