Levitation (comic story)

Levitation was the ex post facto title of the second of two Third Doctor comic stories in the TV Comic Annual 1971. Like many pre-Marvel comic strips, it had no title on initial publication. The name gained traction after being used by Jean-Marc Lofficier in The Terrestrial Index and later by John Ainsworth in his then-comprehensive listing of Third Doctor strips in DWCC 4.

The Doctor helps the Brigadier capture a spy by using his newly found levitation skills that he picked up from reading a book.

- The book the Doctor uses to learn how to levitate is called Levitation Universal Edition. The Doctor claims to have been lent the book by some "weird fellow" on Mars when he visited "a few hundred years ago".
