The Beautiful Game was the third and final story in the audio anthology Pioneers, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Katharine Armitage and featured Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor.

The Doctor decides to treat himself and attend the historic meeting which founds the football league. But he arrives a week early!
