- 1968 - Location filming for Fury from the Deep continued. (TCH 12)
- 1971 - Studio filming for The Claws of Axos took place at BBC Television Centre 3. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1973 - Studio filming for Planet of the Daleks took place at BBC Television Centre studio 6. (REF: Doctor Who The Handbook: The Third Doctor)
- 1996 - Location filming for the TV Movie took place. (Doctor Who The Handbook: The Seventh Doctor)
- 2000 - The Big Finish audio story The Spectre of Lanyon Moor was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2007 - The Big Finish audio anthology Exotron and the audio story Son of the Dragon were recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2010 - Noted fantasy writer Neil Gaiman announced via his blog that he would write an episode of Doctor Who for the 2011 series. This was also the first indication that the series was expected to continue beyond 2010.
- 2012 - The Big Finish audio story The Dalek Contract took place at Audio Sorcery.
- 2013 - The Big Finish audio story Daleks Among Us was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2014 - Big Finish announced the audio box set The Worlds of Doctor Who.
- 2019 - The audiobook version of Professor Bernice Summerfield and the Infernal Nexus was recorded at Audio Sorcery.
- 2021 - Doctor Who: Lockdown! hosted a tweetalong of Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.
