- The BBC's third UK network, named BBC Three, which would later broadcast the first series of Torchwood, was launched.
- The Big Finish audio story Auld Mortality was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2011 - Big Finish's audiobook adaptation of the unproduced TV story The Masters of Luxor was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2012 - The Big Finish audio story The Final Phase was recorded at Audio Sorcery.
- 2015 - The script reading for The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar occurred.
- 2016 - The Big Finish audio story Fiesta of the Damned was recorded at the Moat Studios.
