The Fourth Doctor's physical appearance was "all teeth and curls", this incarnation of the Doctor being an imposing figure with a wide grin, and brown, curly hair. He was well-known for his long, multi-coloured scarf, which would frequently trail on the floor as he travelled around, and had a variety of different outfits during his lifetime, albeit with common elements to them. He would often wear an old, battered hat.
