Hedz was a children's satirical television sketch series that ran on CBBC from 1 November 2007 - 24 January 2011.
The show parodied various celebrities and political figures of the time, using actors who wore oversized cardboard cutouts of the celebrities faces over their own.
The series had two recurring Doctor Who-themed sketches, one for each of its two series.
Doctor Who sketches[[edit] | [edit source]]
In series one, a recurring joke was for the Tenth Doctor to appear doing something that rhymed with the word "who", leading him to introduce himself to the audience as "Doctor [rhyming word]". Such examples included appearing sitting on a giant snooker cue ("Doctor cue"), or having two of him appear ("Doctor two").
In series 2, a new series of sketches were introduced, in which the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond pose as "Doctor Who M.D." and his nurse, who "diagnose" patients with simple medical emergencies as having an ailment caused by alien intervention or a torque in the space/time continuum, leading to outlandish attempts at curing them.

Another series of sketches in series 1, that are of a considerably looser connection to the DWU, is one in which Tiger Woods, under the guise of "golfing legend-turned outlaw, Tiger Hood" attempts to save a fair maiden from a mild inconvenience: the maiden in question being an unidentified Billie Piper, whose cardboard cutout face appears to have been taken from that of Rose Tyler in The Idiot's Lantern.
