- There are three possible explanations given for the time vessel. It might be a commercial timeship from the 52nd century, similar to the SS Madame de Pompadour. It might be owned by the Torchwood Archive, being what was grown from Jack Harkness's TARDIS coral. Stratton might be the final descendant of Henry van Statten, the time machine built from the cumulative work of the Van Statten family.
- The Silver Devastation is a region around Telos damaged by the Cyber-Wars.
- Several possibilities exist for what happens to Telos after this adventure. It may become caught between three warring factions of Cybermen: survivors of Telos, survivors of Mondas, and surviving Lumic Cybermen.
