apparent that Sirius has been in contact with humanity for a long time. According to George Hunt Williamson (one of the early contactees) in his book "Other Tongues, Other Flesh,"[2] the earth allies of Sirius, i.e., the secret societies, use the Eye of Horus as an insignia. This symbol has also been seen on the MIB. Secret societies believe that there is a Great White Lodge on earth. They call it Shamballa -- and consider it to be the spiritual center of the world. Now, theosophists such as Alice Bailey say that the Great White Lodge is on Sirius. If the All-Seeing-Eye is a symbol of Sirius' earth-allies and the MIB wear that symbol, and if Shamballa represents the Great White Lodge on earth -- then the MIB are emissaries of Shamballa. Sirius and Shamballa are two sides of the same coin. This is verified in the book "The Undiscovered Country,"[3] by Stephen Jenkins. Jenkins was told by Buddhist priests that Shamballa was located in the constellation of Orion.

Is it OK if I delete most of the stuff on my talk page? Maybe I should star afresh and clear away all the rubbish written on there.

trans-Himalayan region. Some assert it is in the heart of the Gobi Desert (where there have been allegations of crashed disks and bases). According to the explorer Nicholas Roerich, there are caves in the Himalayas foothills that have subterranean passages. In one of the these passages, there is a stone door that has never been opened, because the time for its opening has not yet arrived. In 1930, Doreal founded the Brotherhood of the White Temple. He says that the entrance to Shamballa is far underground. he goes on to say that space bends around Shamballa, and that there is a warp which leads into another universe.

Articles that need updating - main page
Thanks for that and good luck with the answers site. :)-- 17:50, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
Done, I was just waiting on some final feedback on the forum page. --Tangerineduel 11:35, September 16, 2010 (UTC)
:Ditto.  Oh, you may want to know that we've just this weekend updated our archiving templates.  So if you want to make them compatible with the archive tool you can find under this page's edit drop down, just replace all your architecture at the top of the page with the simple template ArchCat.  ON your individual archives, you can replace what you have now with ArchPage.  If you want :)  Note, however, that these templates will continue to be supported and upgraded in the future, whereas the ones you're currently using may be subject to deletion, as they're not compatible with the current automatic archiving system.  Anyway, thanks and good luck at DWA. 18:22:59 Sun&nbsp;04 Sep 2011&nbsp;</span>

DW Answers wordmark
Rollback rights
I'm unable to leave a message on your user talk page at DW Answers because you have the page sysop locked, for some reason. I know that Answers sites take a lot of fly-by vandalism, but you might want to consider whether it's wise the lead admin to be unreachable by normal talk page communication.  But I digress. To celebrate the clean sweep you're proposing, I've dashed off a new wordmark for you that'll work better with really any background, but especially dark ones. I created a forum post about it and alerted your other bureaucrats to it.  If you don't like it, I certainly won't be offended if you don't use it.  But a transparent wordmark of some kind would probably be more flexible than the current, white-backgrounded design.
Hey, I was wondering if you'd like rollback rights (see Tardis:User rights#Users with Rollback rights for more info). You're good at identifying vandalism and other elements like that and I think it'd be of benefit to you and the wiki. --Tangerineduel 16:19, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
:Done. Good luck, feel free to ask me anything or whatever. --Tangerineduel 13:35, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Contents Box
And, not that I'm one of your admins or anything, but your suggestion to just nuke the questions you have and start afresh is a fantastic idea.  However, it might be wise to spend the next week or so getting some policies in order.  Seriously, have you checked out BC's jaw-dropping revisions to the blocking policy?  You might want, also, to have some concrete guidelines for how you'd like questions asked and answered.  What format should the pages in your namespace 0 take?  Give some practical examples of good and bad ways to phrase questions.  Show people whether you want to separate individual answers with horizontal lines, indentation or headings.  Then, after you're sure you've explained the basics, drop the nuclear bomb and regenerate the site. In other words, absolutely get rid of those 5000+ pages, but have a clear set of guidelines for how the site is going to run.

Hi again. Can you tell me how to do a contents info box as it is not working when I try to make one. Thanks. Ghastly9090 15:27, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Doctor Who spoofs
Spoilers
There is some difference between Curse of Fatal Death and other sketches.
Well, this rule has been in place since 7 June 2010.  So I'm pretty sure you've been around since it's been in force.  It's explained pretty exhaustively at T:SPOIL.  But the basic deal is that spoilers are only allowed on the series page and any thread in The Howling.  So, Series 7 (Doctor Who 2005) is the only place for what you put at Doctor Who — and I'm fairly sure the series 7 page already had that.

The Curse of Fatal Death article is an exception to these spoofs for plenty of reasons, key amongst these is that it's a fully formed adventure and was given a stand-alone video release, the others haven't they've always formed parts of other shows, often as skits that are part of those shows. The other sketches were released 'bonus features' of the Curse of the Fatal Death video, rather than 'along with it'.
Although you should read the whole of T:SPOIL, you should probably pay special attention to T:SPOIL DEF T:OFFICIAL INFO and T:OFF REL. 15:50: Mon&nbsp;30 Apr 2012&nbsp;</span>

I think that the Doctor Who parodies page covers the sketches fine enough. It covers sketches from the 70s to 2000s. There isn't anything really significant about the Lenny Henry sketch, nothing that holds it above most of the other sketches on that article.
Ban at DWA
Christmas greetings

I seem to recall the Extras sketch having an article before it was prop deleted, all the other sketches are roughly the same length and in a similar genre of shows.
How dare you call me vandalistic. I've done nothing of the sort. The last thing I did on here was Doctor Who-related and shouldn't have been deleted in the first place. Glad to see the deletion of the article was reversed.

I think there would likely be a case for such an article's deletion if created, however, a case could be made for its inclusion, though it'd need to have an overwhelming amount of information, more info than could be included on the Doctor Who parodies page. More information than the Extras info that's already on there. Also while you could create an article based on the TV story article layout you'd really need to fill it with a lot of information and especially sourced information, given the sketch's limited availability.

Create the article on your user page as you suggest, I'll take a look at it if you wish before you either move it to an article page or put it to the forums. Thanks. --Tangerineduel 15:22, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
Unsourced Edit
Why did you revert 60.241.108.140's edit on Cyber-Lord (Blood of the Cybermen)? There is nothing in the game that suggests they come from 21st Century. Can you please provide your source? --203.168.176.42 09:05, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
Please Do Not Revert Others' Legitimate Edits
Please stop reverting legitimate edits.  You have reverted quite a few legitimate edits by different IP addresses.  For example, in Blood of the Cybermen, it is clearly stated that the Cyber-Lord and the Cybermen were caught in a timestorm and they are not from present day, 60.241.108.140's edit was perfectly legitimate, yet you reverted his/her edit without providing any rationale. --203.168.176.42 03:05, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

Christmas cheeredit source

Happy holidays!

As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.

This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!

We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.

2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!
