It was the year in which Victoria Waterfield began travelling with the Second Doctor and Jamie McCrimmon. Her father and Theodore Maxtible made contact with the Daleks before or during this year and opened a "time corridor" to 1966, which was eventually used to bring the Doctor and his Scottish companion back to 2 June 1866.
