A camera phone was a type of mobile phone popular in the early 21st century. It was invented sometime after the 1960s.

Mickey Smith had one, and used it in 2006 to take a picture of a member of the Slitheen family while it was incapacitated by its electrified compression field collar. He sent this picture to Rose Tyler's phone and she showed it to the Ninth Doctor. (TV: World War Three)

Amy Pond had one, and Canton Delaware used it in 1969 to take a picture of a Silent. (TV: Day of the Moon)

Clara Oswald also had one, and used it to take a picture of Angie and Artie Maitland on the Spacey Zoomer ride in Hedgewick's World of Wonders. (TV: Nightmare in Silver)
