It took the Sisters a long time to extricate Cass from the wreckage. When they brought her body before the Doctor, he commented that if she were still alive, it was unlikely that she would even speak to him. Cass was the sole remaining pilot of a gunship which crashed on the planet Karn.
Biography
With her ship on a crash course for Karn, Cass teleported the rest of its passengers to safety, as she was the only one not panicking. As she futilely tried to save the ship, the the Doctor, who had noticed the ship crashing, showed up in the control room and offered her a chance to run to safety.
