The Crimean War (1853-1856) was a conflict fought between the Russian Empire and the British Empire and its allies, including France.
On 25 October 1854, a commonly known part of the War occurred called the "Charge of the Light Brigade," in which light-calvary were accidentally made to attack artillery and were killed outright. Agonal, disguised as an officer, actually caused this so he could feed on and enjoy the agony and death. (PROSE: Blood Harvest) The Doctor was present at the Charge of the Light Brigade.
