Alvar Chambers was a wealthy 22nd century human who owned the Earth's air on and its chemical constituents.
He was 143 years old when the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler landed on the Martian cruise ship he had hired for his latest wedding. An entity had possessed him by that time. After the Doctor defeated it, Chambers disappeared. (COMIC: The Cruel Sea)
