He was also the Executive producer for Big Finish Productions from 1998 to 2006, when he stepped down to begin script editing for the BBC Wales Doctor Who series. He worked as producer for both the Bernice Summerfield series, as well as the Gallifrey series. He has written many Doctor Who novels, one of which was Spiral Scratch, which serves as the acting regeneration story for the Sixth Doctor (for a while).
