Tanya Adeola joked that April MacLean just made them fail the Bechdel test when she brought up that she wanted to ask Charlie out to the prom. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die)
Behind the scenes
To pass the Bechdel test, a piece of media has to have at least one conversation between at least two women about something other than a man. The reference comes very close to breaking the fourth wall, as this was Class's first conversation between two female characters, and it does indeed cause the episode to fail the test.
