FP connection to the historical Rump

Is there any connection between the historical Rump Parliament and the one featured in the Faction Paradox storyline? And what is the origin of the term "Rump" in the latter? I'm trying to figure out if it makes sense to add the FP information to the same page or make a separate page Rump Parliament (Of the City of the Saved...). Amorkuz ☎ 23:05, February 22, 2017 (UTC)

In that case, I guess it makes sense to change the lead to something akin to your quote and make two subsections: one for the Cromwell's Rump Parliament and the other for the FP one. Within each section, it would be good to explain how the Rump happened in this particular case. Since the term "Rump Parliament" is not actually used in The Roundheads in this form, I think the general explanation should be derived from the FP source, which I am not familiar with.
