Adrienne Corri (13 November 1931, Glasgow-13 March 2016[1]) played Mena in the Doctor Who television story The Leisure Hive.

She was probably best known for her role as the rape victim Mrs Alexander in the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. According to reports, Kubrick insisted the scene be reshot several times, with Corri nude the entire time. The incident resulted in years of resentment by Corri for the director. Her other film credits include The Viking Queen, the film Patrick Troughton was working on when he was approached for the role of the Second Doctor.

Her numerous television credits include regular roles in A Family at War and You're Only Young Twice. She guest starred in two episodes of Lovejoy.

From 1961 to 1967, she was married to Daniel Massey. An expert on 18th century painters, she was also the author of a book on Thomas Gainsborough.
